Friday Night Lights at Hanalei Bay…means football and so much more.
It means fun with lots of friends. Most all of the keiki that roam Hanalei Beach are schoolmates and playmates.
March’s huge rain storm on Kauai, sent this tree down the Hanalei River. It washed ashore and created an outstanding jungle gym, courtesy of Mother Nature.
Nearing sunset, a friendly game of football for these water boys kicks off.
The water makes for a soft tackle, as long as you can hold your breath.
In the end, they know they are all one team…Hanalei Keiki…all for one and one for all.
When the sky is clear overhead at Hanalei Bay, like it was on this Friday night, our own Milky Way magically spans across the bay and over our heads. (This photo does not capture the magic).
